February 2019 - A Letter from Annette

Dear Partner,

     As I was ministering recently in a church service in Kansas, the Holy Spirit brought something to my attention that I suppose I should have been aware of all these years. As is the case with all of us, we read the Word but don’t get the full revelation of what is being said. I have known the importance of praying in the Spirit and have spent a great deal of time in intercessory prayer, praying in tongues, a language I don’t know naturally but is inspired by the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit is praying through me.

     Now, I know that when the Spirit is praying through me, He is praying perfectly in line with God’s will. When I am praying in this manner, I may not have understanding of what is the best resolution to a problem, or what should be done to correct a situation. I do rest assured that the Holy Spirit knows!

     “For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.” (I Corinthians 14:14) “And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.” (Romans 8:27 NLT)

     Here is what I heard from the Holy Spirit; The baptism of the Holy Spirit with speaking in tongues gives a direct unified way for speaking the will of God in the earth.

     We all have different ideas and opinions as to how to solve issues facing society and the economic and political situations here on earth. In other words, we are not unified or in agreement. When we pray in English, we pray mostly with our mind and reasoning with the exception of the gift of prophecy and the anointing of the Spirit. When we pray in the Holy Spirit, our mind is disengaged. Our spirit by the Holy Spirit prays! The Holy Spirit by our spirit is speaking the perfect will of God into the earth, calling a Divine Solution into effect!

     Praying the Word and speaking the Word are always effective. We also have the added power of the Holy Spirit when speaking in supernatural tongues. In effect, the Tower of Babel is reversed. God said “And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” (Genesis 11:6)

     When Spirit filled believers are of one mind and speak the language of the Spirit, mighty things happen upon the earth! Use your voice and allow the Spirit to pray through you daily. When you do not know HOW to pray, He does! (Romans 8:26)
